Summer has finally arrived, and before disappearing for a couple of weeks I wanted to leave one last progress report.
This has been another documentation-heavy month, resulting in several long-running projects finally crossing the finish line. I mentioned I like making lists, right? Do you know what I like even more than making lists? Striking items off them 😈
Here's what we've been up to.
Writing Content
📱 Development of the Symbol Mobile Wallet documentation continued throughout the month. Several new user guides were added, covering common wallet operations such as transferring mosaics, deleting accounts, and other day-to-day tasks. Only guides related to multisignature accounts are missing now.
🌉 Another significant milestone this month was the addition of the Symbol Bridge documentation, both in the Textbook and as a User Guide. They introduce the bridge and explain how assets move between Symbol and Ethereum. This is a completely different area of the ecosystem, so it was interesting to document concepts that go beyond the core blockchain and into cross-chain interoperability 😊
:nem-shield: In NEM territory, now we have updated Node installation guides and Supernode enrollment guides. The old ones needed a few changes, and they have been ported over to the new NEM docs site.
Review
:nem-shield: Zero has been sprinting to have the remaining NEM developer tutorials done in time for the summer, and I've been running after him with my tongue hanging out, trying to keep up with the reviews. The good news is... he's done it. Once I finish reviewing the last three, all the planned tutorials will be complete 😮💨

:xymcoin: Still mostly a documentation month, but the weekly brainstorming sessions for XYM City 3D have become sacred. We made some progress defining the game’s art direction, and I formally documented it in the Game Design Document. How does that sound? 😊
Site configuration
⚙️ The usual collection of behind-the-scenes improvements that rarely make the headlines but keep the documentation project healthy: fixing CI and linting issues, updating build dependencies (hey! we got a 30% build time speedup!), and tweaking the CSS for the REST API and image captions. There were also more preparations for the public release of the new documentation websites: deploying redirects, updating links… and, at long last, removing the WIP 🚧 label from the site 🎉
