Hello!
I’m back from my holidays! I missed you!
Not much to report this month, since I’ve only been back for a week. Mostly I’ve been clearing out small tasks that had been pending for a while.
Writing content :task-docs-textbook: Work has started on the last remaining pages of the Textbook. Only 3 to go.
Site configuration
The docs site has a new 404 page, check it out!
Management
Internal documentation about the Syndicate’s companies has been updated.
Review
Nodewatch, the Symbol statistic server, now has (or soon will have) an official OpenAPI specification. I helped review the documentation.
Daruma
I spent a lot of time during the holidays working on XYM City. I couldn’t help it 😅 ****Now I’m back to docs, though I still sneak in a moment here and there for my favorite project.
Here you have each task’s relative time distribution for this month:
This is the current status of all documentation tasks. The main line to watch is Symbol Documentation at the top, with all other entries listed as its subtasks. The bars in the chart represent how many of those subtasks have been completed.
There have been no changes since last month, so no orange bars appear.
I keep adding buildings to XYM City, trying to make it feel more alive.
It is now complex enough that I believe a videogame based on exploring the city and uncovering its secrets could be really fun!
Soon I will make this experiment public so anyone can walk around the city from their browser.
In the meantime, here you have another video:
